We loved the super comfortable beds and the enjoyable shower. the layout of the cottage was great, with a bright decor that added to the cozy and traditional feel. It was well equipped for our week-long stay, providing everything we needed.

The cottage could benefit from some improvements. the water in the area was extremely chalky, which left residue in the kettle and affected the taste of our tea.

Plus, the added amenities like Wi-Fi and free parking made our stay even more convenient. And let's not forget to mention that beach access was just a stone's throw away! The fact that cots were available for families and pets were allowed was just the cherry on top. We were also grateful for the no smoking policy on site, ensuring a fresh and clean environment. All in all, we cannot wait to return to this hidden gem. It truly exceeded our expectations in every way.

Heating downstairs was a bit cold.

I recently stayed at a charming cottage in a quaint village near the coast. The bed in Laurel Cottage was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The layout and decor were bright and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere. I especially loved the enjoyable shower.

One downside was that the property was a bit chilly downstairs during my stay in late February. Although there was an electric heater provided, it would have been even better if the log burner had been in use to warm up the space.
